So….what do you do? I listen to music, podcasts, comedy, and books through the magic of headphones and the internet and or CD drive. Okay, maybe that isn’t so magic but it is awesome. Listening to music or other auditory delights is actually encouraged at my job because it increases productivity – earphones in your head, less mouth running. Seeing as though I have been there for 2 ½ years….lots and lots of listening under my belt here, y’all. I thought I would take the time to put down my go-to stash of ear candy in case anyone is interested in a different perspective. Maybe it’s a shared perspective. Maybe you are already into this and that, maybe not. Maybe you should be. Maybe you shouldn’t. Maybe I should stop telling you what to do. Maybe I should just shut it and get on with it. Here I go walking the slippery slope of suggestion. Remember, I am just one person in this interconnected cosmos. My opinion is just my opinion and maybe you will enjoy something I enjoy as well. Just a suggestion…
I have listened to a ton of audio books and my suggestion is to check in with the local library. My local library uses Overdrive digital media services which enables me to check out audiobooks from home and put them on my MP3 player.
